Nick is an experienced programme director, consultant and coach helping organisations and individuals improve their change delivery effectiveness. Nick has broad experience having transitioned successfully from executive leadership to consulting, and specialises in complex transformation programmes. His experience includes: Director of Consulting – developing operating models, coaching, mentoring, digital transformation, delivering business-critical digital products and services, implementing Agile approaches to enable faster development and delivery cycles and technology improvements, Executive coaching and mentoring, working directly with a small number of individual clients to help develop their leadership, personal effectiveness and business impact, helping Executive teams plan and organise their transformation portfolio to identify and realise £60m savings over 3 years Operations Director - led service delivery of 1.65m practical and 1.4m theory tests annually across GB, including leadership of ICT function. 2100 staff, financial responsibility for c£190m turnover, delivered £40m programme to implement EU Directive on Driver Certificate of Professional Competence. This complex, multi-agency, road safety project went live on time and within budget. Regional Director for Highways England (Highway Agency) - Implemented £160m project to create innovative National Traffic Control service to provide high quality traffic information, Led project to establish a new Information Directorate, integrating 200 staff and functions from across HA. Acting Information Director and HA Board member July 2004-March 2005. Additional roles and experience: Cabinet Office (2008-14). Accredited High-Risk Review Team Leader. Led successful assurance reviews on a wide range of major programmes and projects for UK government departments. Chair of Governors, Tytherington School (2010-2016).
